Electrocoating seminar to be held Sept. 11-12

The Electrocoat Association and Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI) have announced their 2018 electrocoating seminar, ECOAT Boot Camp, to be held Sept. 11-12 at the Embassy Suites Jackson North Ridgeland Hotel outside of Jackson, Mississippi.

The event uses interactive elements to educate attendees on the facts of electrocoat and allow them to build on what they’ve learned through case studies and small-group, problem-solving activities. Topics include:

• Technology basics, types of e-coat, and applications of each.
• Pretreatment as a critical and essential system component.
• How equipment and material handling impact ROI.
• Process control techniques and strategies to maintain the upper hand.
• Testing and troubleshooting to prevent or overcome defects.

Also included will be a “Meet the Speaker” reception and a plant tour at Systems Electrocoating in Madison, Mississippi.
