Electrolux postpones expansion in response to steel, aluminum tariffs

In response to the Trump administration’s announcement about tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, kitchen appliance manufacturer Electrolux has announced it has postponed the $250 million, 400,000-sq.-ft. expansion it had planned for its Springfield, Tenn., facility over the next two years.

The company states that the tariffs could raise the price of the American-made steel that it uses to produce appliances in the U.S.
