Fairlead Integrated builds Virginia manufacturing facility

Fairlead Integrated has started construction on a 40,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach, Va. The company reports the building will increase its manufacturing footprint and allow the firm to prepare for increased demand from military customers for new hardware and software.

The new facility will produce a variety of products made to military specifications, including control systems, variable-speed drives, and communication and networking tools. It also will include a test lab that is double the size of the company’s current lab.
