Forney Industries promotes two executives

Forney Industries Inc., a privately held third-generation welding and metalworking company in Fort Collins, Colo., has announced the promotion of two vice presidents.

Dane Anderson, vice president of operations and business administration, has been promoted to COO. He joined the company in 2019 as regional sales manager and was later promoted to general business manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Colorado State University.

Kenny Gensel, vice president of finance and accounting, has been promoted to CFO. Gensel joined the company in 2021 after serving more than a decade as CFO at Niner Bikes. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Oregon and is a CPA.
