GE Aviation completes turboshaft testing for U.S. Army turbine engine program

GE Aviation, Lynn, Mass., has completed testing of a T901-GE-900 turboshaft engine prototype in support of the U.S. Army’s Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP)

The tests, which were conducted over the span of six months, showed the engine exceeded ITEP performance requirements.
