Hammond Machine Works expanding in Indiana

Hammond Machine Works, a provider of machining, metal fabrication, assembly, finishing, and engineering for the rail car industry, has broken ground on a 13,000-sq.-ft. addition to its facility in Hammond, Ind. Completion is scheduled for spring 2022.

The $4 million project is expected to add five to 10 positions to the company’s current 55-person staff.
