Hillenbrand elects Able Mfg. chairman as independent director

Hillenbrand Inc., Batesville, Ind., a global diversified industrial company, has elected Daniel C. Hillenbrand as an independent director. He is current chairman and former president/CEO of metal fabricating company Able Mfg. and Assembly LLC and Nambé Inc., a consumer products company.

Hillenbrand also is the founder and managing partner of Clear Water Capital Partners LLC, a private venture capital firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
