Hinckley Yachts to pay off employees’ boat-building education loans

Maine-based Hinckley Yachts has announced it will pay off federal education loans for graduates of The Landing School, a boat-building school in Arundel, Maine, as an incentive to join the company.

After a student graduates from The Landing School with a federal financial aid loan, the yacht manufacturer will help pay back the loan through a payroll plan.

The yacht maker wants to employ 60 builders at its service yard and 200 at its manufacturing site.
