Imperial Brown to open manufacturing plant in Arizona

Imperial Brown, a manufacturer of custom walk-in coolers and freezers, has announced plans to open a manufacturing plant in Tucson, Ariz., in January 2023. The company also has facilities in Portland, Ore.; Salisbury, N.C.; and Prague, Okla.

Construction of the 99,000-sq.-ft. building is set to begin in Q1 2022. Expected to create 100 jobs, the facility will feature a 32-ft. clear height, 72- to 90-ft.-deep truck courts with trailer storage, ESFR fire protection, 105 car parking spots, 24 dock positions, and eight grade doors.
