Initiative aims to increase manufacturing productivity in Wisconsin

Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., Milwaukee 7, and Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership have announced the launch of the Transformational Productivity Initiative, a program designed to help small and midsize manufacturers in Wisconsin improve their productivity.

The group is seeking five to 10 companies to participate for a two-year trial period. Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership, several University of Wisconsin programs, and a number of manufacturers will develop diagnostic and assessment tools to determine the issues affecting productivity growth and help formulate solutions.
