Knuth Machine Tools supplies equipment to Advanced Technology Center

Knuth Machine Tools USA, Lincolnshire, Ill., recently received an order for a variety of equipment from the College of Lake County for the school’s new Advanced Technology Center in Gurnee, Ill. The manufacturer provided plate rolls, ironworkers, and saws and also donated a group of eight drill presses.

The ATC is designed to strengthen Lake County’s manufacturing workforce, provide industry-relevant career pathways, and be a focus of economic development for key opportunities including welding and CNC. Two programs—industrial technology and welding and fabrication technology—will be offered at the facility in fall 2022.
