Laystrom Mfg. appoints president

Chicago-based Laystrom Mfg. has promoted Jeff Dec to president. Dec has more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing and extensive knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques, quality, supply chain, customer relationships, and design for manufacturing.

Laystrom is a provider of precision sheet metal fabrications and component parts, value-added assemblies, and low- and high-volume metal stampings. Capabilities include prototypes, CNC metal fabrication, laser cutting, metal stamping, value-added assembly, and welding.
