LVD Strippit hires sales engineer

LVD Strippit, Akron, N.Y., has named Brian Bergeron as direct sales engineer. He is responsible for the sale of the manufacturer’s laser cutting systems, punch presses, press brakes and shears, automation systems, and CADMAN® software in Ohio, Kentucky, and parts of southern Indiana and West Virginia.

Bergeron has more than 20 years of experience in the industrial machinery market. He has served as territory sales manager for various machine tool manufacturers and brokers and also has worked as a general/plant manager. Most recently he was regional sales manager for an Ohio-based machinery sales company representing waterjet and EDM equipment.

Bergeron studied industrial engineering at Sinclair College and received his toolmaker’s apprenticeship certificate in Ohio.
