Mack Trucks plans $14.5 million expansion in Virginia

Mack Trucks, a North American producer of heavy- and medium-duty trucks and part of Sweden-based Volvo Group, will invest $14.5 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Roanoke County, Va.

The company will add 72,000 sq. ft. to its current production facility to increase capacity for its medium-duty truck line and an emerging medium-duty electric truck line. The project will create 51 new jobs.
