Malibu Boats to expand in Tennessee
Powerboat manufacturer Malibu Boats has announced plans to invest $75 million to expand manufacturing operations in East Tennessee.
The company will create 770 jobs over the next five years as it locates some of its Cobalt brand production in an existing facility in Lenoir City, the company’s second plant outside of its Loudon, Tenn., headquarters. Production and hiring for the new facility are expected to begin in Q1 2024.
