Mayville Eng. honored for inclusive hiring practices
The Wisconsin Job Honor Awards, an initiative aimed at recognizing Wisconsinites who have overcome barriers to employment, has presented Mayville Eng. Co. Inc. (MEC) with a 2017 award in the employer category. The company received the award for its hiring of individuals with prior criminal convictions.
MEC, a metal fabricator based in Mayville, Wis., partners with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections work release program, among other initiatives.
