Meritor appoints VP/chief strategy officer

Meritor Inc., Troy, Mich., a supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, and aftermarket products for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, has hired Cheri Lantz as vice president/chief strategy officer. She has an extensive background as an executive in the commercial vehicle and industrial sectors.

Lantz most recently served as a principal at Boston Consulting Group. She has an MBA with a focus on corporate strategy and economics from the Ross School of Business, as well as a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.
