Metal-Era breaks ground for headquarters expansion

Waukesha, Wis.-based Metal-Era Inc., a provider of commercial roof edge and roof ventilation systems, celebrated a groundbreaking for the expansion of its headquarters July 25.

The company is expanding its current 100,000-sq.-ft. building with a 25,000-sq.-ft. addition. The company also will remodel about 15,000 sq. ft. for additional office space to make room for its growing team and will purchase new equipment to accommodate its growing demand.

Metal-Era is projecting to add nearly 40 jobs over the next couple of years as the expansion comes to completion.
