Miller Welding Machine Co. names president, announces leadership changes

Brookville, Pa.-based Miller Welding & Machine Co. (MWM), a metals manufacturing partner for OEMs, has named Eric D. Miller has been named president. This marks the third generation of leadership for the family-owned business.
As president, Miller is responsible for all operations at the three MWM plants, located in Brookville and Homer City, Pa. He has been with the company for 23 years, serving most recently as vice president of sales and marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Lehigh University.
Former president David K. Miller has assumed the role of chairman of the board. During his tenure, the MWM Maplevale plant was built to add metal coatings for OEM parts as well as the supply of finished metal parts, and the company began its foray into lean manufacturing.
Cathy Elensky, former inventory manager, has been promoted to CFO. She is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in business logistics.
This month the company is launching a bimonthly webinar series specially designed for OEMs. The inaugural webinar, entitled “Maximizing the Inventory Capabilities of Your Metal Manufacturer,” will be presented by Eric Miller on Jan. 24 at 11:30 a.m. EST.
