Morton Industries acquires Benton Steel Fabrication

Morton Industries LLC has announced its acquisition of Benton Steel Fabrication Inc., a fabricator of specialized steel products located in Dunlap, Tenn. In addition to this new location, Morton has a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, and two in Morton, Ill.

Benton Steel Fabrication’s product line includes components for construction and mining machines. These components complement Morton Industries’ fabricated metal tube, sheet, and enclosures for off-highway, electrical infrastructure, HVAC, and OEM markets.

As part of the acquisition, Benton Steel is rebranding to the Morton Industries name.
