Navico Group to expand fabrication capabilities and battery lab

Navico Group, a division of Brunswick Corp. and supplier of integrated systems and products for the marine and RV industries, is investing $32.7 million in its Lowell, Mich., operations, where it will create two Centers of Excellence and 80 jobs.

The metal fabrication Center of Excellence will be equipped with laser and robotic fabrication technology for manufacturing products for the marine industry. The electrification Center of Excellence will enable engineers to develop and test end-to-end battery technologies.
