NBT announces 2015 summer manufacturing camps

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs®, the foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl. (FMA), Rockford, Ill., has announced the locations of its 2015 summer manufacturing camps.
Campers design and build a product, experiencing the start to finish satisfaction of creating something they can show off with pride. Throughout the process, they learn how to use CAD and operate various kinds of manufacturing machinery under the close supervision of expert manufacturing trainers.
Campers also tour local manufacturing facilities, learning what kinds of jobs exist, what skills and training are required, and how those businesses developed.
The camp locations for 2015 are:
- Arkansas State University – Newport, Jonesboro, Ark.
- College of the Canyons*, Santa Clarita, Calif.
- FLATE – Hillsborough Community College, Tampa, Fla.
- Fresno City College*, Fresno, Calif.
- Gordon Cooper Technology Center, Shawnee, Okla.
- Harper College*, Palatine, Ill.
- Henry Ford College, Dearborn, Mich.
- Itawamba Community College, Belden, Miss.
- Kiamichi Technology Centers, McAlester, Okla.
- Manchester Community College* (two camps), Manchester, N.H.
- Marshall University Research Corporation on behalf of the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing (two camps), Huntington, W.Va.
- Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical, Red Wing, Minn.
- North Georgia Technical College (two camps), Clarkesville, Ga.
- Northeast Alabama Community College* (two camps), Rainsville, Ala.
- Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Green Bay, Wis.
