Okay Industries names director of manufacturing

OKAY Industries Inc., a contract manufacturer that engineers components and subassemblies for OEMs in the medical device and industrial markets, has promoted Steven Kmiec from senior manufacturing engineer to director of manufacturing. He oversees the daily manufacturing operations at the company’s facilities in New Britain and Berlin, Conn., and supports production activities for the Costa Rica facility.

Kmiec has more than 30 years of demonstrated, multidisciplined work experience in product application and development engineering in the medical, aerospace, automotive, defense, and consumer goods industries.
