Optomec hosts 9th annual International Aerosol Jet User Group Meeting

Optomec, a supplier of production-grade additive manufacturing systems for 3-D printed electronics and 3-D printed metals in Albuquerque, N.M., recently hosted the 9th annual International Aerosol Jet User Group Meeting in Santa Clara, Calif.

More than 20 users from 15 companies attended the meeting, including representatives from industrial, academic, and government organizations. Users presented their work on a variety of Aerosol Jet printed electronic applications, including 3-D printed structural electronics, flexible electronics, and printed conformal sensors. Attendees also received a guided tour of the NextFlex lab facility in San Jose, Calif., where they observed Optomec’s Aerosol Jet 5X system for 3-D printed electronics.
