Orbus Visual Communications relocates and expands two brands

Orbus Visual Communications, Woodridge, Ill., a producer of visual communication items for tradeshows, events, and retail and workplace environments, has announced the relocation of its SEG Systems and Fabric Images brands to a new, expanded manufacturing facility in Huntersville, N.C.

The $25 million project will create 100 new jobs, in addition to the 86 jobs moving from Charlotte, N.C. The new facility, 50% larger than the previous space at about 225,000 sq. ft., will incorporate SEG Systems’ and Fabric Images’ entire production capabilities: metal fabrication, powder coating, lighting, printing, fabric architecture manufacturing, woodworking, and acoustical felt production.
