Paperless Parts appoints chief technology officer and chief scientist

Paperless Parts, a Boston-based quoting and communication platform for custom part manufacturers, has promoted Jason Luce from senior vice president of engineering to chief technology officer. In addition, company co-founder Scott Sawyer has been named chief scientist.

Before joining the company in January 2023, Luce was senior vice president of engineering at SessionM and head of engineering for LogMeIn’s Emerging Products line of business.

Sawyer began his career as a software and electronics engineer at Lockheed Martin. Later, he served as a researcher in MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Big Data Group and as VP of engineering at Ecovent before he co-founded Paperless Parts.
