Sabre Industries to expand in Louisiana

Texas-based steel manufacturer Sabre Industries has announced plans for a $1.6 million expansion at its Sabre Building Systems by CellXion manufacturing location in Bossier City, La. The expansion is expected to create 50 direct jobs and 13 indirect jobs.

The expansion will add a new production line that will help the company supply steel-fabricated poles. This will allow the firm to provide additional laser welding techniques with plasma control and programmable functions.

The Sabre Building Systems site, which currently employs 167 people, includes a 250,000-sq.-ft. modular-shelter manufacturing plant, along with a 60,000-sq.-ft. steel fabrication facility and an 80,000-sq.-ft. equipment installation facility.
