Shimco receives AS9100D and controlled-goods program certificates

Shimco, a manufacturer of precision parts and gap-management systems in Cambridge, Ont., has received two industry certificates: the AS9100D revised quality management system standard for the aviation, space, and defense sector based on ISO 9001:2015; and recertification under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.

Both certifications involved rigorous effort and processes to prove the company’s commitment to high-quality standards in the manufacture of laminated metallic and nonmetallic sheets and machining of laminated and solid shims, taper fillers, and detailed components.
