Snell Mfg. appoints president/CEO

Snell Mfg., a Nashville-based family of industrial companies, has hired Charles “Chuck” Banker as president/CEO to lead the company’s three holdings in its next phase of development. He has more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing operational excellence and sales leadership.

Banker began his career in manufacturing at Illinois Toolworks, ITW, leading five of its companies with international facilities. He later worked for GT Schmidt and Plymouth Tube Co.

Snell Mfg., which employs 110 people across Tennessee and South Carolina, is a supplier of boat, horse, and utility trailer suspension and tie-down equipment. The three manufacturing holdings include a bearing manufacturer, a metal stamping plant, and a contract manufacturer serving Fortune 500 OEMs.
