Stanco Metal Products celebrates 100 years
Stanco Metal Products marked its 100th anniversary with an open house at its facility in Grand Haven, Mich. The fourth-generation, family-owned manufacturing company was founded as Peerless Novelty by Warren Stansberry in 1917 to produce components for the sewing industry. The company changed its name to Stanco Metal Products in 1977.
The company, which now provides metal fabrication, stamping, forming, welding, drilling riveting, assembly, powder coating, and packaging, also has plants in Williamston, S.C., and Santa Teresa, N.M.
