Three employees purchase Guild Intl.
Joe Thomas
Guild Intl., Bedford, Ohio, a provider of coil joining equipment for the steel processing, tube producing, and stamping industries, has announces new ownership with the purchase of the company by three long-term employees.
Joseph “Joe” Thomas, former vice president of operations, has been named president. William “Bill” Maruschak will continue as CFO. Both Thomas and Maruschak have been with the company for 30 years. Mark Wagner, former sales engineer who joined the company in 2009, has been named vice president of sales.
The privately-held company has been owned by Michael Wheeler, son of Donald Wheeler, the original founder of the company. Mike Wheeler will continue as chairman of the board.
