Tide Rock Holdings acquires Bayless Mfg.

Tide Rock Holdings has announced the acquisition of Bayless Mfg. LLC, Valencia, Calif. The acquisition marks the holding company’s expansion into the metals industry to complement its interconnect solutions, cable assembly, and plastic subcomponent manufacturing businesses.

Since 1978 Bayless has built three businesses: precision sheet metal manufacturing, machining operations, and coating. Today the company is known for its grained aluminum silk-screened front panels, typically used by industrial machinery, automotive, and medical equipment manufacturers.

Robert Lummus has joined Bayless as its new CEO. He is working closely with founder Earl Bayless to help ensure a smooth transition. Lummus served as president of International Aerospace Coatings and vice president of sector operations at StandardAero. Before that he spent 20 years working in large public corporations, including GE, Boeing, and Harley-Davidson.
