Tidewater Boats expands production at South Carolina facility

Tidewater Boats, a manufacturer of saltwater boats, is investing $8.3 million to expand its manufacturing center in Lexington, S.C., with the construction of a new plant. The company expects to create 100 new jobs.

The new facility will allow for more streamlined production, as well as production of larger models. It also will free up space at the company’s original facility to expand production.
