Tie Down hires VP of sales and marketing

Atlanta-based fabricator Tie Down has hired David Maxey as VP of sales and marketing. He comes to the company from MFG.com, where he served as COO.

Maxey has 10 years of experience, having held senior roles in managing and leading teams in a variety of industries. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and an executive MBA from Kennesaw State University.

The company offers fabrication services including robotic welding, laser cutting of sheet and tube, and forming.
