Timken acquires Rollon

The Timken Co., North Canton, Ohio, a provider of engineered bearings and power transmission products, has reached an agreement with Chequers Capital and IGI Private Equity to acquire Rollon Group, a manufacturer of linear guides, telescopic rails, and linear actuators.

The Italy-based Rollon also has manufacturing operations in Germany and the U.S. It employs about 600 people.
