TRUMPF announces strategic collaborative agreement with A3DM Technologies
Farmington, Conn.-based fabricating machinery manufacturer TRUMPF Inc. and A3DM Technologies have entered a collaboration agreement to develop specialty metal powders and laser parameters. As part of the agreement, A3DM Technologies will have a TRUMPF TruPrint 1000 powder bed system installed at its research facility in Burlington, Vt.
With several parameters and cylinder sizes options, the machine is suitable for material and parameter development.
A3DM Technologies performs research and development of refractory and precious metal powders for additive manufacturing by induction plasma technology.
