TRUMPF Inc. names product manager for TruPunch, TruMatic lines

Roger Michaud has been named product manager for the TruPunch and TruMatic products at fabricating machinery manufacturer TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn. He succeeds Brian Welz, who has accepted the position of direct sales manager for machine tools in Florida.

Michaud joined the company in 2004, serving most recently as product support manager for technical services. He completed TRUMPF’s two-year laser engineer apprenticeship in 2006. He also has worked as a machine mechanic, laser service engineer, training engineer, and technical supervisor.
