TRUMPF names head of TruServices and Smart Services

Farmington, Conn.-based TRUMPF Inc., a manufacturer of machine tools used in flexible sheet metal processing, has named Christine Benz as head of TruServices and Smart Services. She joined the company in 2003 as a laser development engineer, then later served as manager of project engineering and training and development manager.

Benz holds a bachelor’s degree in precision and microengineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, a master’s degree in technology management from Central Connecticut State University, and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Northcentral University in Arizona.
