Western Industries to close Wisconsin plant

Contract manufacturer Western Industries Engineered Products Group has announced plans to close its Watertown, Wis., facility, eliminating about 85 jobs by late October. The plant makes parts and fabricated assemblies for manufacturers in the agricultural, outdoor power equipment, commercial vehicle, food service, and consumer appliance markets.

Speyside Equity, which purchased Western Industries in December 2016, calls the factory the Engineered Products Group (EPG) of Speyside Steel Fab Holding.
