Wisconsin Oven ships conveyor oven for stress-relieving automotive parts

Wisconsin Oven, East Troy, Wis., has shipped a natural gas direct-fired, continuous-duty conveyor oven to a U.S. manufacturer for stress relieving of steel snap rings used in automotive parts.

The oven has a maximum operating temperature of 650 degrees F and a work zone of 2 ft. 2 in. by 10 ft. by 1 ft. Temperature uniformity is ±20 degrees F at a set point of 550 degrees F per customer requirements.

When preheated, the oven can heat 350 lbs. of steel parts per hour from 70 to 550 degrees F. Heated air is delivered in a horizontal airflow configuration through an adjustable boxed duct (louvered openings are factory-preset), located along the length and across the height of the work chamber.
