Aims Metrology acquires Measurement Specialties

Aims Metrology, a Dayton, Ohio-based CMM manufacturer, has acquired the assets of Measurement Specialties Inc., also based in Dayton. MSI provides calibration, certification, and programming of CMMs, along with retrofitting and repair services.

Aims plans to cross-train its service engineers to enhance support capabilities. The OEM also will be able to increase its capabilities for the development and application of custom part programs.
