Banner Metals Group opens quality clinic

Banner Metals Group Inc., a provider of metal stamping, fabrication, welding, CNC machining, laser cutting, and engineering services, has opened an on-site quality emergency clinic at its Columbus, Ohio, facility for metal part analysis and corrective action. Modeled after a hospital emergency room, the clinic has an extensive process to resolve issues with nonconforming parts.

The clinic can conduct a root cause analysis; recommend, validate, and verify corrective action; and provide complete documentation. Every aspect of the product’s use, packaging, and life cycle is considered during this process. The company also uses a real-time network at every manufacturing workstation and cell to collect, trace, identify, and analyze every step of the manufacturing process.
