Fracture mechanics lab manager joins Laboratory Testing

Dr. Mehrdad Zoroufi

Dr. Mehrdad Zoroufi has joined Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI), Hatfield, Pa., as the fracture mechanics lab manager. He received a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo and is a licensed professional engineer.

Zoroufi has an extensive background in fracture mechanics, including both technical and management experience. Most recently he spent six years with Element Materials Technology as principal engineer and senior mechanical engineer.

LTI is an accredited, independent materials testing laboratory that offers destructive testing, NDT, and metrology services to businesses in aerospace, power-generation, and defense.
