Laboratory Testing appoints third-generation family member as president

After 25 years as president of Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI), an independent materials testing and metrology laboratory in Hatfield, Pa., Michael J. McVaugh is retiring from the position and turning over the title to his son, Brandon McVaugh. Mike will remain CEO of the family-run business that was started by his father, Robert (Bob) W. McVaugh Sr.

Brandon McVaugh began working part time for the family business while still in high school and college. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from Delaware Valley University, then took a position with The Vanguard Group. He returned to LTI in January 2010 as the customer service supervisor, then spent five years managing the mechanical testing department and machine shop and three years as director of operations.
