Magnetic Analysis Corp., Sensor Networks, Zetec develop UT phased array upgrade program

Magnetic Analysis Corp. (MAC), Sensor Networks (SNI), and Zetec have joined forces to offer the ZMS program.

Nondestructive testing providers Magnetic Analysis Corp. (MAC®), Sensor Networks (SNI), and Zetec have joined forces to offer the ZMS program, a single alternative for bar and tube producers needing to service and upgrade their phased array systems such as ROWA and BIS for detecting flaws, wall thickness, geometry, and lamination.

Providing UT array transducers and electronics, along with repair, maintenance, and spare parts, the three companies work together to help bring existing test systems up to the latest standards. MAC, Elmsford, N.Y., serves as the sole point of contact, prime contractor, system integrator, and service provider. Zetec Inc. of Snoqualmie, Wash., provides the phased array electronics and underlying software. SNI, State College, Pa., provides transducers, including custom designs for specific applications.
