Trace-A-Matic doubles large-part inspection with new CMM installation
CNC machining provider Trace-A-Matic Corp. has installed a new Hexagon Global Advantage CMM in Plant 5 at its Brookfield, Wis., location. The bridge-style CMM is designed to measure large dimensional components with complex geometries. The equipment can gauge machined parts up to 79 by 130 by 59 in. at a maximum weight of 14,300 lbs.
The new installation provides full-contact analog scanning capability and doubles large-part inspection capacity.
