Zetec webinar highlights ultrasonic inspection technology

Zetec Inc., Snoqualmie, Wash., a provider of NDT technology, has posted a 25-min., on-demand webinar on new scanning technology that helps technicians improve the efficiency and accuracy of ultrasonic inspections in oil and gas, aerospace, manufacturing, and other industrial applications.

The webinar features the NDT Sweeper scanner, which handles multiple ultrasonic inspection environments such as flat and curved specimens, magnetic and nonmagnetic surfaces, and raster scanning over long distances. It supports up to two phased-array probes of any kind, making it suitable for manual weld inspections.

The session features the scanner in a series of practical demonstrations, including corrosion mapping, composite inspection, and weld inspections.
