Webco Industries Inc. appoints president

Sand Springs, Okla.-based Webco Industries Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metal tubular products, has appointed David E. Boyer as president. Boyer, who has been with the company for 34 years, succeeds Dana Weber, who has held the position since 1995 and will continue in her role as CEO and chairman of the board.

Boyer also continues to serve as COO, a position he has held since 2011. He was appointed to the board of directors and vice chairman in 2018, and he has been senior vice president of tubing operations since 2001. He previously served as vice president of sales and marketing, general manager of the stainless division, and a product manager.

Boyer has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Millikin University and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University. He also is a graduate of Harvard Business School Program for Management Development.
