KMT Waterjet Systems names new president

Brendan Shackelford, current president of Shape Technologies Waterblast Group, has been named the new president of KMT Waterjet Systems, a Shape Technologies Group company in Baxter Springs, Kan. The company is a global manufacturer of ultrahigh-pressure waterjet pumps and components used in complete waterjet systems.

Shackelford joined Shape Waterblast Group in November 2016 as aftermarket director and assumed the leadership role in January 2018. Before that, he spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy and five years as regional general manager for the Rosemount Measurement business of Emerson Electric. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an MBA.
