Shape Technologies Group names VP of marketing, product management

Kent, Wash.-based Shape Technologies Group, a supplier of waterjet technology and ultrahigh-pressure manufacturing process systems, has hired Tim Fabian as vice president of marketing and product management.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the waterjet, machine tool, and general pump industries, having served as vice president of aftermarket services for Bystronic; director of aftermarket sales and service at Grundfos; and in a variety of leadership and management positions at Flow Intl., a Shape subsidiary. Fabian holds a degree in business and managerial economics from Western Illinois University and an MBA from Penn State University.
